Cheer at Rowland!
Phoebe has been asking to be signed up for soccer, gymnastics or cheer. I went to Rowland during my lunch break yesterday and signed her up! Today is her first class.

STA lost a valued team member yesterday
Russ Cady loved cars and ran a website sharing his opinions on them. www.autospotters.com. Who knew that the careless operation of one by another would be the thing to end his life? So young, so sad... we will miss his witty comments and the smile he wore everyday in the office. It will be hard to not see him in the office now, after 6.5 years.

Visit from Maddi!
The kids are thrilled to be together! Maddi, Brittanie, Chris & Mom stayed by our house since Tammy had foot surgery Thursday.
The kids found the frog by Tammy's. He kept jumping into the pool, they were cracking up! We later let him go. :)

Another girl's day out :)
I thought about Phoebe getting ready to go back to school and how much she sat in the house not doing much over the summer and I decided to get her out of the house! We went to Starbucks then to Mudpie. She had a vanilla bean frap (which has no caffeine) and picked out a Hello Kitty piece to paint. We had a good time, no rushing around and we got to see the Cash's. Below is a picture of the piece she painted.

RIP Mr. Joe
Mr. Joe is my brother in law's father. He seemed like a decent man that valued time with family. He was found at his home today, unresponsive. Services will be held on Friday, August 16, 2013. Please pray that his family can find peace with his passing. Rest in Peace Mr. Joe, say hi to Ms. Pat for us.

Joseph passed away on Tuesday, August 13, 2013. He was born on October 24, 1937 to mother, Anne Farrell and father, Joseph Flannery. He proudly served in the U.S. Air Force, resided most of his life in Philadelphia until after retiring from the Postal Service after 35 years of service when he moved to Metairie, LA to be close to his family. Joseph was an avid sports fan. His favorite teams were the Phillies and the Eagles. He enjoyed spending time with family, watching sports, and was a foodie. He is survived by two daughters, Michelle Pierson (husband, Bob) of Baton Rouge, LA and Margaret Clark (husband, Mark) of Kenner, LA; a son, Joseph Flannery (wife, Angel) of Metairie; twelve grandchildren, Chris, Lindsey, Sarah and Caroline Pierson, Brittany, Brennan, Tyler and Lauren Clark, Brittanie, Matthew and Destiny Flannery and Kaitlyn Flannery Lesage (husband, Louis); three great grandchildren, Addison and Brooke Lesage and Madelynn Asher; and a brother and sister, Robert Flannery and Maureen Curci and their families. Working on the grapes!
Phoebe decided to offer to help today by rinsing the grapes and picking them off the stems. She's doing a great job and she's been working on them for about 20 minutes now. So proud! :)

Super MawMaw!
MawMaw Tessie & PawPaw came to pick Phoebe up to spend a week in MS. When leaving Kingwood and getting on FM 1960 they stopped to get a dog off the highway. His owner was walking him on 1960 without a leash! Super mawmaw came to the rescue, got out, stopped traffic, saved the dig & told the owner they need to use a leash! Good job mawmaw! You rock!

They went to Chuck e Cheese, Story Park & the Aquarium. Had sleep overs and movie nights! Phoebe is having a blast in MS and she gets to see Aidan, Evan & Maddi this weekend. Below are some pictures from her week.
