Rest in Peace Nanny Boo

We lost a wonderful person today, but heaven gained a precious angel. Nanny Boo took me under her wings when I was a teenager, treated me as her own. We weren't blood related, but that doesn't always define family. I have so many wonderful memories from living with her, Jessica and Uncle Mike. They included me on their vacations every year. We may have lost touch for a while, but when we did see one another, it was like a day hadn't passed. Especially since the woman never looked a day older! My heart hurts today, so so much. She will always hold a special place in my heart. I love you Boo, and still can't believe you're gone. I'll continue to pray for your family to find comfort, although I'm sure you still have all of us under your wings.

Me and Phoe decided to beat each other up (slap each others hands) and we were crying and laughing at the same time! Then we couldn't stop!!! So we started crying and laughing more, then decided to call it craughing! Jack tried to get out the bathroom because he thought we were losing our minds!! He was scared!! Lol!!!!!

Chuck e cheese

Make up time! Since mommy had to work late a lot this month, I decided to give in and surprise Phoebe by picking her up from school then taking her to good old Chuck e cheese. There was hardly anyone there so we had a good time. :)

So... she has a boyfriend

Phoebe tells me this morning "Mom, if I tell you something, will you be mad or will I get in trouble?". I said what is it? Then convinced her she wouldn't get in trouble for being honest. She said well I've been wanting to tell you that I have a boyfriend. I calmly said okay, is his name Bryson? She giggled and said yes. Apparently they've been dating for a year now but in her words "now that I'm nine and he's 8, I hoped it was ok". I honestly couldn't have picked a better first boyfriend for her. :) I checked her homework folder in her backpack and pulled out a drawing. It said Bryson and Phoebe in block letters.. from Bryson.

We went to Science night at school tonight and Bryson was there. His mom said Bryson told her he really wanted to go because Phoebe was supposed to be there. He also told his mom "I hope we can at least be friends after Phoebe tells her mom that we're dating". So cute. They hug hello and goodbye. He was the one friend that she mentioned when we were getting souvenirs at Disney World.

Phoebe's New Bedroom

Phoebe decided to move her bedroom upstairs. She stayed in there for the first time last night and didn't come downstairs until 1:15am... which was great for her! She usually comes out of her downstairs bed before midnight. She says that she really likes her new room, probably because it's filled with Frozen stuff! :)

Andre "Terry" Francois Theriot, III, passed away on Saturday, August 23, 2014 at the age of 67 in Slidell, LA. A resident of Mandeville, LA, he was born on December 13, 1946 in New Orleans, LA to the late Andre Francois, Jr. and Elmira Madona Theriot. Andre leaves behind Joan K. Theriot who, upon his mother's passing when he was a young man, became a second mother to him and held a dear place in his heart. Andre was the loving husband of Cynthia Brown Theriot and father of Michael P. Theriot. He was the step-father of Colette Logan Alonzo (Jonathan) and Nicole Logan Kimble (Chad). Andre was step-grandfather to Anthony Ryan, Davon, Dylan, and Braydin Kimble, and Logan and Kiley Alonzo. He was the brother of Gary Theriot (Karen), Jeffery Theriot (Lisa), and Mark Theriot (Donna), uncle of Jeff, Jason, and Jordan Theriot and great uncle of Tyler Theriot. Andre was the son-in-law of Henry C. Brown and Mazie D. Jackson, and brother-in-law of Fred Brown, Scott Brown (Gail), Marsha B. Bernheisel (Michael), and Donna B. Hotard (Curtis). He was preceded in death by his loving grandparents, Andre F., Sr. and Alma Theriot. Andre was the devoted nephew and godson of Elda T. Eschmann. He will be dearly missed by his lifelong friend, Roger Brown. Andre retired as a Captain with the New Orleans Fire Department after 35 years of service. He had a deep passion for hunting, fishing, and the outdoors. His sense of humor and storytelling will be greatly missed. Relatives and friends of the family are invited to attend the Graveside Memorial on Saturday, September 6, 2014 at Mandeville Mausoleum, 1600 Montgomery St., Mandeville, LA, at 9:30 AM. Phoebe's First Day of 3rd Grade

The years are flying by now...and I couldn't be more proud of the kid she's turning out to be. We love you to the moon and back Phoebe Jean! (aka Stinker Bottom & Dolphin Head!) hehe

Another Girls Day Out!

I picked her up from camp a little after noon, we headed to Bahama Bucks for a snow cone. She just wanted a small with whipped cream. They put a lot of it!!! We ate snow cones, played Jenga & 2 games of uno. Then headed to Dollar Tree to let her do a little shopping with her own money. After that we headed to Kohls for school clothes but they didn't have much to offer. Next we went to IHOP then were on our way to Justice for school clothes. We pulled into the parking lot, I turn to look at her and she was knocked out. We skipped Justice and went home. It was a great day! We were just missing Daddy!
