First Day of 4th Grade

Phoebe got Mr. Alloway as her teacher. He is a new teacher at Foster. We love his personality! Phoebe has Ms. Kuzminski for part of her day. I asked her a few minutes ago if she was tired, she said no. I took Jack out for 2 minutes, come back in to find her asleep. :)

RIP Bailey

We lost another 4 legged family member today. Bailey was almost 16 years old, she peacefully passed away this morning. Aggie is heartbroken, as we all are, but we're thankful she wasn't in pain. Say hi to China, Nila, Shadow & Abby for us Bailey, we miss you all!

Belt testing - Blue belt

Phoebe tested for her blue belt yesterday and did great! I'm pretty sure she'll get her blue belt this week, whoop whoop! She's really enjoying TaeKwondo. Maybe because there are goals and rewards for reaching those goals. With gymnastics, she loved it but only went once per week and there weren't any set goals when not going multiple times per week. And she loves that Uncle Faud used to be in martial arts!

Phoebe's 2015 Spring Break

Mikey took her to Picayune yesterday and they hit Storyland today! Yesterday they ate ladybugs (crawfish). :)

Rest in Peace Nanny Boo

We lost a wonderful person today, but heaven gained a precious angel. Nanny Boo took me under her wings when I was a teenager, treated me as her own. We weren't blood related, but that doesn't always define family. I have so many wonderful memories from living with her, Jessica and Uncle Mike. They included me on their vacations every year. We may have lost touch for a while, but when we did see one another, it was like a day hadn't passed. Especially since the woman never looked a day older! My heart hurts today, so so much. She will always hold a special place in my heart. I love you Boo, and still can't believe you're gone. I'll continue to pray for your family to find comfort, although I'm sure you still have all of us under your wings. 

A night of craughing! :-)

Me and Phoe decided to beat each other up (slap each others hands) and we were crying and laughing at the same time! Then we couldn't stop!!! So we started crying and laughing more, then decided to call it craughing! Jack tried to get out the bathroom because he thought we were losing our minds!! He was scared!! Lol!!!!!

Chuck e cheese

Make up time! Since mommy had to work late a lot this month, I decided to give in and surprise Phoebe by picking her up from school then taking her to good old Chuck e cheese. There was hardly anyone there so we had a good time. :)

So... she has a boyfriend

Phoebe tells me this morning "Mom, if I tell you something, will you be mad or will I get in trouble?". I said what is it? Then convinced her she wouldn't get in trouble for being honest. She said well I've been wanting to tell you that I have a boyfriend. I calmly said okay, is his name Bryson? She giggled and said yes. Apparently they've been dating for a year now but in her words "now that I'm nine and he's 8, I hoped it was ok". I honestly couldn't have picked a better first boyfriend for her. :) I checked her homework folder in her backpack and pulled out a drawing. It said Bryson and Phoebe in block letters.. from Bryson.

We went to Science night at school tonight and Bryson was there. His mom said Bryson told her he really wanted to go because Phoebe was supposed to be there. He also told his mom "I hope we can at least be friends after Phoebe tells her mom that we're dating". So cute. They hug hello and goodbye. He was the one friend that she mentioned when we were getting souvenirs at Disney World.

Phoebe's New Bedroom

Phoebe decided to move her bedroom upstairs. She stayed in there for the first time last night and didn't come downstairs until 1:15am... which was great for her! She usually comes out of her downstairs bed before midnight. She says that she really likes her new room, probably because it's filled with Frozen stuff! :)
