Summer vacay in Picayune, MS 😍

MawMaw and PawPaw came in this past Sunday to pick Phoebe up to go stay with them for a week. They picked Kinleigh up on the way back so the girls could spend some time together. And they have been busy and making every day count! Check out some of the things they've done so far this week! 

Taste food challenge, talent show, colored PawPaw's beard, stayed at a resort in Biloxi, went in the lazy river... oh and Phoebe tried to jump rope with slime they made and got it all in her hair! They thought they'd have to shave her head, lol! 😱

Wonder Woman!

Carrie and Aaron took the girls to see Wonder Woman today, then went to Skeeters and back to their house to hang out. 

Phoebe's 1st Mission Trip

Phoebe is on her first mission trip with Kingwood Church of Christ. They left for Arlington today, June 22nd, will be doing a service project on Friday, June 23rd, head to Six Flags on Saturday then heading home Sunday. Missing her already but so excited she gets to experience this with her BFF Payton.

Marlene A. Armstrong Davis passed away at Canon Hospice Hospital on Saturday, June 3, 2017 at the age of 71. Beloved Daughter of the late Eva Zeringue and Rene Armstrong. Beloved mother of Shelly Mones Morales (Phil), Laura Davis and the late Rene Davis. Grandmother of Andrew and Gage Perez, Madison and Maigen Morales and Paige Demoll. Great grandmother of several. Sister of Rodney Armstrong, the late Allen and Alwyn Armstrong. Special Thanks to the staff at St. Bernard and Ferncrest Manor and Canon Hospice Hospital for the care given to our loved one. A Funeral will be held in the Chapel of Charbonnet Family Services, 4917 E. Judge Perez Drive, Violet LA on Thursday, June 8, 2017 at 11 AM. Interment PRIVATE. Visitation 9 AM IN THE CHAPEL. Welcome Ethan Kade Thompson!

Chris and Stephanie welcomed Ethan Kade Thompson this morning at 8:12am. Ethan is a little guy weighing in at 3lbs. 8oz. and will spend at least 10 days in the NICU.

 

Last day of Elementary school :-/

Tomorrow, June 2nd will be bittersweet. It's the last day of school but it's also the last day she'll be in elementary school. She shed a few tears thinking about how much she's going to miss all of the staff at Foster. We made them some special gifts as a token of appreciation for all that they do. We will be sure to stop by and say hi every now and then. Foster was good to us and we sure will miss that school. 😢

Phoebe, Payton & Madison ~ Stay

RIP Simba

Simba's organs were failing and he was 16.5 years old. They made the decision to put him to sleep today. Angel has been taking care of him since the Philibert's sold their house in Madisonville. Simba was one of China's puppies. He will now be with his mom, his sister Nila and his dad Shadow. RIP Simba, we love you!

Best Husband Ever!

Phoebe slept over at Payton's last night. Me and Mikey were catching up on missed episodes of Archer. I fell asleep during the last one, I was exhausted. He woke me up to go get in bed and he had my fan turned on and the sheets pulled down so I could just climb in bed. It really is the little things that mean so much. 

Then today I was taking Phoebe and Payton with Chrissy and Kinsley to a Turners Syndrome get together in Cypress. He picked up the girls for me, picked up lunch, went to the grocery, put everything away, cleaned the kitchen, helped our neighbor dig a hole in his yard, washed my car, hung our new mirror and cooked dinner. Seriously, what did I do to deserve this man? It isn't just about what he does, he is a great husband and a fantastic father. I just want to give credit when credit is due. My hubby rocks! And he's easy on the eyes as an added bonus! 😘😍💋

The perfect Saturday! 4.8.17

Payton spent the night after Foster's Spring Carnival last night. Then I took the girls to meet up with Payton's family at Kingwood High for the Easter Egg hunt. The girls had a great time! 

After that we came home to pick up Dad and headed to Kings Harbor for the Harbor hunt! We went to meet up with the Arndt's. 

Then we went to have lunch at Skeeters and frozen yogurt at Orange Leaf. 

Such a beautiful day!! Phoebe is spending the night by Payton's tonight, they're going swimming and then she'll be joining them at church again tomorrow.  She went last weekend with them as well as Wednesday and she loved it! ❤️ 

She did a backflip!

The child has taught herself how to do a backflip! She did it on the trampoline, I told her to get comfortable doing it there before she proceeds to try it on land! :)

Phoebe back at Rowland! 1.26.17

Phoebe started gymnastics again today at Rowland. She's pretty excited! She loves her coach!! At the end of class he said to me "Phoebe has such a great personality! I've never had a kid say 'thank you' and have such good manners before. Made my heart smile. :)

She landed her front walkover!

Phoebe has been wanting to learn a forward walkover for a while now. She took a chance, actually several, and landed her first one today! She did it on the trampoline this past weekend but did it on the floor today. She's super excited!

Bestest husband ever! 1.14.17

Just taking a moment to express my sincere appreciation for my husband. He knows that I am swamped at work with a huge deadline approaching. I stayed up until almost 2am working last night. He let me sleep in until 10:45!! Then he proceeded to clean the house, take the outside Christmas decorations down and put them up in the attic, washed, dried and put away clothes, made us a fabulous lunch and a pot of coffee! I don't know what I'd do without him! I love you Michael!!!!

Girl's Day Out!

Fun day with my girl before we return to school and work tomorrow. We had Hibachi for lunch, went to Macy's, Justice, Claire's, Party City and to order her cake. Weather was beautiful, we were just missing Mikey!

11 year old vaccinations

Before and after 4 vaccination shots. You'd never know that she was stressing big time over these shots! But she did it, so glad it is over! After each one she said "oh my God, was that really it?!" Lol
