Shortest Hair Cut Yet!

Phoebe decided that she wanted to cut her hair pretty short. She likes to see change when she cuts her hair. I let her do it to get it out of her system. :) She was so happy. Meanwhile, me & Mrs. Jennifer were freaking out, Lol. But it came out cute.

She wanted to paint her face like a kitty cat. Then she said "I was thinking we should add a bow, not like hello kitty, just a bow. :)

Bike Rodeo

Foster had their bike rodeo today. I stopped in to see Phoebe participating. She had fun! I think it wore her out though! It sure was hot and super humid out there today!

Nothing like driving 6 hours back home while sick and walking in to a hubby that took care of the house, groceries and had these waiting for me. :-) Love love love that man!!

Cheer at Rowland!

Phoebe has been asking to be signed up for soccer, gymnastics or cheer. I went to Rowland during my lunch break yesterday and signed her up! Today is her first class.

STA lost a valued team member yesterday

Russ Cady loved cars and ran a website sharing his opinions on them. www.autospotters.com. Who knew that the careless operation of one by another would be the thing to end his life? So young, so sad... we will miss his witty comments and the smile he wore everyday in the office. It will be hard to not see him in the office now, after 6.5 years.

Visit from Maddi!

The kids are thrilled to be together! Maddi, Brittanie, Chris & Mom stayed by our house since Tammy had foot surgery Thursday.

The kids found the frog by Tammy's. He kept jumping into the pool, they were cracking up! We later let him go. :)

I thought about Phoebe getting ready to go back to school and how much she sat in the house not doing much over the summer and I decided to get her out of the house! We went to Starbucks then to Mudpie. She had a vanilla bean frap (which has no caffeine) and picked out a Hello Kitty piece to paint. We had a good time, no rushing around and we got to see the Cash's. Below is a picture of the piece she painted.

RIP Mr. Joe

Mr. Joe is my brother in law's father. He seemed like a decent man that valued time with family. He was found at his home today, unresponsive. Services will be held on Friday, August 16, 2013. Please pray that his family can find peace with his passing. Rest in Peace Mr. Joe, say hi to Ms. Pat for us.

Joseph Francis Flannery Obituary FLANNERY Joseph Francis Flannery It is with great sadness that the family of Joseph Francis Flannery announces his passing at the age of 75. Joseph passed away on Tuesday, August 13, 2013. He was born on October 24, 1937 to mother, Anne Farrell and father, Joseph Flannery. He proudly served in the U.S. Air Force, resided most of his life in Philadelphia until after retiring from the Postal Service after 35 years of service when he moved to Metairie, LA to be close to his family. Joseph was an avid sports fan. His favorite teams were the Phillies and the Eagles. He enjoyed spending time with family, watching sports, and was a foodie. He is survived by two daughters, Michelle Pierson (husband, Bob) of Baton Rouge, LA and Margaret Clark (husband, Mark) of Kenner, LA; a son, Joseph Flannery (wife, Angel) of Metairie; twelve grandchildren, Chris, Lindsey, Sarah and Caroline Pierson, Brittany, Brennan, Tyler and Lauren Clark, Brittanie, Matthew and Destiny Flannery and Kaitlyn Flannery Lesage (husband, Louis); three great grandchildren, Addison and Brooke Lesage and Madelynn Asher; and a brother and sister, Robert Flannery and Maureen Curci and their families. Relatives and friends are invited to attend the funeral. Service will be held in the Chapel of L. A.
