One Happy Family...

Phoebe was writing on the chalk door earlier, before her and Mikey headed to the grocery. I noticed later what she wrote and it just made my heart smile.

"We're one happy family."

RIP Paula...

Heaven gained an angel today... My brother told us today that God chose to take our cousin, Paula Everhardt (Guerra) after a traffic accident. Rest in peace Paula.. you will be missed by so many.

--- Status Update By Ray Whitfield It's hard to define the closeness I had with my cousin Paula Everhart (Guerra ) when We were growing up, we are the same age and couldn't wait to see one another. She was another sister to me, beautiful, funny and the sweetest thing in the world. For whatever reason god decided to take her a few hours ago in a traffic accident. My only comfort is that her husband Fred was there with her in the end, and I know how much Fred adored her. Everyone who knew her adored her! This isn't fair! ---

EVERHARDT Paula Guerra Everhardt passed away on Sunday, April 13, 2014 at the age of 44. She was the cherished wife of Frederick Everhardt, Jr. for 24 years. Loving mother of Kayla Renee' Guerra, Brittani Marie Everhardt and Frederick Edward Everhardt III. Devoted grandmother of Rodney Evans III. Daughter of Edna Asher Guerra and the late William Leroy Guerra, Sr. Daughter-in-Law of Geraldine and Frederick Everhardt, Sr. Sister of William Guerra, Jr. (and his wife Joyce) and Billy Ray Guerra (and his wife Felicia). Sister-in-Law of Darlene Everhardt Molinere and Angel Lynn Everhardt. Godmother of William L. Guerra III, Amanda Renee' Marinello and Kyle Boudoin. Aunt of Matthew, Gracie and Emma Guerra. Beloved friend of Maria Hernandez. Also survived by other relatives and dear friends. Paula was a lifelong resident of St. Bernard Parish and a member of World Prayer Tabernacle in Chalmette, LA. We know she is in heaven dancing with Jesus. Paula will be deeply missed by all who knew her. Relatives and friends are invited to attend a visitation to be held at ST. Flower from Phoebe

Phoebe picked this flower this morning while taking Jack out. She brought it in to me while I was making her lunch and said "mom, this is for you, for being the best mom I could ever ask for."... I put it in my hair and secured it with a barrette. I will wear this thing with so much pride today. I love you Phoebe Jean & you are truly a blessing!

Happy Birthday Aunt Jean!

I hope they're throwing you a wonderful birthday celebration up there. We sure are missing you. You were so easy to talk to, and so funny. Phoebe would've loved to come visit you and play with your cats, and you should see her work her way around a computer! Well I hope you're enjoying the world you live in now. Girl's Day Out

I took Phoebe to Justice to spend her gift cards & then to Children's Place to stock up on summer clothes. She is now a size Small..  No more Extra Small! :-( Our girl is growing up!

Houston Rodeo!

We met up with Jennifer, Kelly & Krissy at the rodeo. Phoebe had a great time!

Spring Break - Kids in Action

Phoebe is loving Kids in Action spring break camp! And the staff is loving her! I had 4 staff members tell me that she has become a staff favorite already because she has been so sweet. :) And she's singing along, made 4 new friends today & takes field trips everyday. Yesterday was HEB, they got to sample foods from each section in store & learn lots. Today they went to a school playground, tomorrow is the museum of natural science. So less stressful when you know your kid is happy & enjoying their days. :)

She snuck this note into my lunch bag this morning. Please Phoebe, don't ever change. The little things mean so very much.

Roller Skating with Cousins

Early Release & Mudpie

Since I had to work a lot over the past few weeks, I decided to leave early today since Phoebe had early release. Her choice was Mudpie & McDonalds. Then we headed home to wash Lil' Blue (the car). It was gorgeous outside! Looking forward to tomorrow! We are going yo pick up Aidan & Evan then heading to Fuddruckers for dinner. They'll be spending the night, so excited! :)

Scalp Psoriasis

Ugh, my heart is breaking. School nurse called & Phoebe's scalp psoriasis is really bothering her. :-( I don't usually make a fuss about it because I know people have much bigger issues & things could be worse... But I just want to put it out there.. If there is anything anyone knows can help with scalp psoriasis, please let me know. She's always scratching it & I'm waiting for kids to start picking on her...this weighs heavily on me, everyday... Taclonex works great on her skin...Think I'll call the Dr and request Taclonex scalp.

Making up some time with my girl :)

Since mommy had to work almost 80 hours last week due to someone's personal issues at work!!! I left early today, checked phoebe out of school, we went to have lunch...she picked Chick-Fil-A, then we went to Mudpie & she painted a cat and for the first time ever, she did all 3 coats by herself! Then we headed to the nail salon to get her nails done before our hair appt. :) Great girl time!!

Phoebe's 8th Birthday Party - Minions!

Phoebe had her birthday party at Rowland Ballard today. It was a success but we sure did miss MawMaw & PawPaw! Although it was a wonderful treat to have TeTe & MawMaw Jeannie attend!
