RIP Dad

David Levron Obituary

Published by Legacy Remembers on Mar. 13, 2025.
David Joseph Levron, 76, passed away on February 26, 2025, in New Orleans, Louisiana

Born on April 11, 1948, in Pittsburg, California, David lived a life filled with passion, faith, and adventure. A proud Marine, he carried the discipline and strength of his service throughout his life. His deep faith was a guiding force, and he found great joy in studying the Bible and expanding his knowledge on topics that intrigued him.

David had an undeniable love for speed and power-whether behind the wheel of a fast car or astride his beloved Harley Davidson. The roar of an engine was music to his ears, and he never missed an opportunity to leave his mark-sometimes quite literally-with a trail of rubber on the pavement. He also enjoyed a good game of pool and could often be found unwinding with a glass of peach schnapps in hand.

Family was at the heart of David's world. He is survived by his former wife and mother of his children, Jeannie Asher; his children: F. Ray Whitfield and wife Shannon; Angel Flannery and husband Joseph; Tammy Philibert and significant other Cliff ; Annette Gioia-Burch and husband Damian; Agnes Gonzales and husband Brian; and Ezekiel Miller. He also leaves behind nine grandchildren-Brittanie, Matthew (Britney), Destiny (Jacob), Taylor, Cade, Shelby, Aidan, Evan, and Phoebe-as well as twelve great-grandchildren: Madelynn, Jaxson, Nolen, Eli, Liam, Charlotte, Ashton, Dominik, Carter, Kamdin, Naomi, and Leilani. His siblings EJ and Denise mourn his passing alongside many other family members and friends. He also shared a special bond with his girlfriend Sarah Martin.

David was preceded in death by his beloved wife Elizabeth Jolivette Levron; his parents Ernest Joseph Levron and Agnes Velma Rogers Levron; as well as numerous brothers, sisters, aunts, uncles, nieces, and nephews who went before him.

A Celebration of Life will be held on Friday, April 11, 2025 from 2:00 p.m. to 6:00 p.m. at 305 Midway Drive in River Ridge, Louisiana.

David's memory will live on in the hearts of those who knew him-his laughter echoing like the rumble of a Harley down an open road. His blue eyes, kind smile, warm heart and wisdom will forever be cherished by those he loved.

P.S.
